My thoughts? Hmm. It is empowering and powerful to finally see Americans stand up and say enough is enough with this corporate bullshit. The widespread consciousness that has arisen from this oppression is bittersweet. We could certainly dig a little deeper and get more real. I think it would move a lot faster and create the change that people are asking for if people led by example though. Stop asking and DEMAND. Wanna go against banks, corporations, etc? Stop buying corporate shit and supporting banks. Destabilize the system. Boycott products and hit them where it hurts, not in the streets but in their pockets. Although the street protests are a nice touch, don’t let this be the only approach. Shake the banks. Take your money and wire it where they can’t see, touch or taste it. I’m sure I sound “radical” and “oversimplified” but these are the thoughts of a wining pro se litigant’s daughter.
My mom is not in the streets protesting, she is in the courthouse knocking these corporations OUT. She won the house from the fraudulent and worthless mortgage, won the car and has money somewhere else. So my thing is, now that the movement has our attention, move before it just starts to look like a lot of people making a lot of noise. We all know the attention span of the average American is that of a 5 year old’s.
Some of the “99 percenter” signs look like people are begging to get their rights back and I’m like, what? THOSE ARE YOURS. The fuck are you asking for? Stand on top of those rights and don’t move. As long as you feel they give your rights, they’ll always have power of you. i realize as long as we are not talking about completing overthrowing the government some compromise will have to be made with them but make them work for you. you do not have to work for them. Don’t lose sight.
Freedom is still necessary and it is still by any mean.
Disclaimer: I wrote this May 2nd and decided not to post it because I knew the amount of opposition this would receive and was in no mood to deal with it. I was sickened by my timeline’s responses to my brief comments on the matter so I knew my post would come under fire that I did not have the patience to deal with. With reviewing it now, I have decided to release it. Happy reading.
Since the murder of Osama bin Laden, I have found myself knee deep in news reports that sound like terrible comic book stories on the ‘heroic’ murder of bin Laden and blasted to the past in news reports from the 9/11 era, also selling governmental and political fairytales. I witnessed so much skepticism on Twitter accompanied by blind patriotism praising this accomplishment of murdering the mastermind behind the tragedy of September 11, 2001. Always count on the government to show us that we kill people who kill people because killing people is bad (ridiculous). So I took a few steps back to look at exactly what happened on 9/11, the Bush administration, and the history of our nation’s interactions with Mr. Osama bin Laden (google Osama bin Laden in CIA). While this is not a conspiracy theory on 9/11, this is my attempt to understand what is being said on exactly how, as Obama puts it, “justice has been served.” This post is not for the fainter heart, the blindly patriotic, or people easily offended by questioning authority. This post is for those who will come with an open mind and view the following information for themselves to form their own opinion.
“Do you know what intelligence is? It is the capacity, surely, to think freely, without fear, without a formula, so that you begin to discover for yourself what is real, what is true; but if you are frightened you will never be intelligent.” -J. Krishnamurti
“Corporate media manipulators love a big story they can hype, distort and falsify to attract large audiences, unaware they’re getting managed news, not truth.” -Stephen Lendman
People refuse to call the news propaganda but if we’re going to be fed government press releases without further investigation, that’s what it is. And really, people have believed so much as truth that we now know as myths. That could very well be the case now. Don’t be stupid. People grew highly upset with the rise of “9/11 conspiracy” statements on Twitter last night. I realized that people could not fathom for one moment that the government would plant Osama bin Laden as a pawn to pin the blame on in this game of war. His attack resulted in blind patriotism, lack of investigative journalism, and a war. Now, his rather timely death shall result in more blind patriotism, more war, and more heightened security.
We are in a position where we have to trust the government. Nothing can be certain (to include conspiracies and news alike) but what is certain is the official story has serious problems.
What We’re Supposed to Believe:
Hijackers passport found in the rubble of WTC attacks.
So you mean to tell me after those planes exploded into the WTC buildings that I am supposed to really in my right mind believe that an entire passport with little damage managed to make it through the fire and fell 110 stories to the ground and fully intact? Oh.
Plane vaporized when hitting the Pentagon but managed to knockdown not one, but two, 110 story buildings (demolition style).
“The official explanation is that the intense heat from the jet fuel vaporized the entire plane. Flight 77 had two
Rolls Royce engines made of steel and titanium alloy and weight six tonnes each. It is scientifically impossible
that 12 tonnes of steel and titanium was vaporized by jet fuel.”
“We were also told that the bodies were able to be identified, either by their fingertips, or by their DNA, so what
kind of fire can vaporize aluminum and tempered steel and yet leave human bodies intact.”
With all the debate over what hit the Pentagon, it is very suspicious that over 80 videos, which could show further evidence that it was indeed Flight 77 are currently being held by the FBI. While a few frames and some very distant and poor footage has been released, nothing can concretely be identified as Flight 77 or a Boeing 757 for that matter.
The Department of Justice has admitted to the existence of no less than 85 videos and Freedom of Information Requests
have been denied.
Why?
Building 7 collapsed due to structural failure.
“Part of the problem is that most people simply don’t know much about building 7, due to the extraordinary secrecy
surrounding this collapse.”
“This was a 47 story skyscraper. This building fell at 5:25 p.m.”
(a) The collapse can be seen starting from the bottom
(b) The onset was sudden and not gradual
(c) It was a total collapse
(d) Its acceleration approximated was that of an object in free fall.
(e) Its concrete was clearly pulverized
(f) This fell into its own footprint in a very small pile a few stories
For those unaware WTC7 was Hq for CIA-FBI-Secret Service on 9/11. This is the heart of the intelligence community in NYC-they had total vision of Operational Theatre. People want to believe the official version of events, however knowledge, scientific fact, eyewitness testimony and common sense prevail-We were lied to yet again. The Op was staged in their front yard with media as ring announcers. Conspiracy theorists see what they want, even when the facts behind it prove otherwise.
Osama confessed that he was responsible for 9/11
He “claimed responsibility for planning the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington,” providing no corroborating evidence. In fact, in David Ray Griffin’s writings, he said:
“(T)here is no good evidence that bin Laden had planned or even specifically authorized the 9/11 attacks.” Those believing it cite his misinterpreted September 2001 Al Jazeera interview, rejoicing in the attacks but denying knowledge or responsibility.
Bush is telling the truth!
really?
yes. no. maybe so.
here’s a better look at what the previous video was saying (without the conspiracy talk).
errr. see that expolsion go off 10 stories below the collapsing? 0:07. oh.
Bunch of skepticism here. Yeah, so the comments on this video have their own theories about their not being bombs and explosions being caused by a plethora of other crap, completely straying away from the fact that these two towers collapsed in the exact same way and looked EXACTLY like a demolition.
I’d totally buy this animated crock of shit if the 80+ surveillance videos would be released as further proof. Why hide them if you’re telling the truth?
So besides clinging to the media and clinging to conspiracy and knowing that every opinion cant possibly be fact, where is the truth?
Good question. the point of this post says think for yourself. In the end, we all will be ignorant to some degree. the truth about 9/11 is unknown. The contradicting “official stories,” the faulty “confession video,” and miraculous DNA findings in an airplane crash that was said to have obliterated 6 tons of titanium, the subsequent war…in IRAQ, the reported corruption of the bush administration and no trials, the undisclosed 80 videotapes of the alleged plane hitting the pentagon… the list of skepticism and unanswered questions goes on so how can anyone really know? We can’t. What I do know though is the theories arent fully true and neither is the news. If they lied about 9/11, why not lie about killing this guy to get some more blind patriotic blood pumping to get the next thing on thee agenda done?
I recently read this book and suggest it for every single person I know.
Synopsis: A white journalist (specializing in race relations) changed the pigment of his skin and shaved his head to become a negro man for a seven week project. He wanted to know what it was like to be a black man in the Southern states of the U.S. in 1959. His journey was unlike anything he imagined or expected. This story is unlike anything I have ever read involving this era. It eloquently details the era of the Jim Crow laws in a way that I had never read before. I became deeply resentful of any history textbook I read in high school. This was an eye opening experience for me and I hope my subscribers and readers will pick it up sooner than later. This documentation of American History is not broadcast for a reason.
I have an issue with the question, “Is it legal?” because the answer is usually used as a measure of justice or injustice. Legality never meant moral or justice. It was just 50 years ago that Jim Crow laws were legal. It is currently legal to frame people as 9/11 hijackers and not correct the mistake. It is currently legal to bomb entire countries over oil, power, and money. A reporter of CNN decided to ask if the FBI forcing cell phone companies to make cell phones tracking devices without probable cause legal. Here’s the thing, with over 6 million active laws on the books we’re sure to play tit for tat and find contradictions. Our “legal system” is deeply flawed but your perspective is even more flawed if you ask that question to figure out if this is okay or not. Even if it is legal it is WRONG. Who gives a real shit whether it’s legal or not? It’s wrong and for those who are sticklers about law it is, in fact, illegal. But as I stated before, with over 6 million laws in place and millions of terrified Americans fearing the boogie man terrorists, it’s going to remain until we decide to fight for our rights. For an institution that feels it gives us our rights (no one gives me shit, I was born with rights), you have to know the same institution will feel like it can take away rights as well.
Most of my readers are aware of how corrupt the government can be and how the media normally acts as its counterpart in maintaining the masses ignorance. We’re kept in the dark until we make an effort to see the light. Enlightenment on these matters are normally not given and the media and government have a blast playing on our ignorance. Well, here we have a reporter blatantly telling us that our right to privacy has been obstructed and denied by the FBI. What are we going to do to change it? We knew the “surveillance” of this country went too far with The Patriot Act and Obama detested it in his run for office. Welp, good ol’ boy Mr. Obama just signed the bill for it to remain. Did you use your right to vote as means to have your other rights taken away? No. So what are we going to do about this?

”Institutionalized rejection of difference is an absolute necessity in a profit economy which needs outsiders as surplus people. As members of such economy, we have all been programmed to respond to the human differences between us with fear and loathing and to handle that difference in one of three ways: ignore it, and if that is not possible, copy it if we think it is dominant, or destroy it if we think it is subordinate. But we have no patterns for relating across our human differences as equals. As a result, those differences have been misnamed and misused in the service of separation and confusion.” Audre Lorde, Sister Outsider (1984)
On my post about the Republican agenda to strip communities of their rights and ultimately annihilate the poor’s chances to be granted a quality education, someone commented and asked what do we do now? The answer is ACT. Here at UMich, I am joining solution based forums that educate the public on these matters and act to change them. What are the right actions to take? Marches and rallies were revolutionary in the 1960s but I’m one for progression. There has to be other routes and innovative methods to taking action on these political monsters today. They are using new methods to oppress. As a result, we must use new methods to fight against it. Or so I thought. Since I have posted about Rick Snyder’s egregious motions to ultimately end democracy and sell off public education (privatization) in Michigan, I have gone to two forums on this topic and will be be heading to Lansing with various groups to take a stand. Educating and unifying the masses never goes out of style (look at Egypt). My concern with this is not the action itself because it still works. It is the multiple groups going at different times for the same reason. There isn’t much power in numbers if the numbers are not unified. What we need is organization and real, dedicated leaders to act with the fierce urgency of now. This will be a quite the journey.
Since we are currently witnessing a malicious attack on our public schools with the closing of schools, cutting of funds, doubling the size of the classroom, increasing requirements for standardized testing, and the immediate decision to cut art from schools, there is no better time to post this great video. We are all in a tizzy about trying to keep the public schools going. But let’s take a moment to assess and really think about public education overall. It is my sincerest hopes that this 12 minute video gets some of your juices flowing on these things.
Be well.
The arts especially address the idea of aesthetic experience. An aesthetic experience is one in which your senses are operating at their peak, when you’re present in the current moment, when you’re resonating with the excitement of this thing you’re experience, when you’re fully alive. An aesthetic is when you shut your senses off and deaden yourself to what’s happening and a lot of these drugs are that. We’re getting our children through education by anesthetizing them. And I think we should be doing the exact opposite. We should be waking them up.
It’s essentially about conformity… and it’s about standardization.
As long as the agenda is keeping corporations in good standing, Republicans are eager to foster the mass devastation in this country. Preserve the rich, eliminate the poor. No? Then explain the information in the video below.
This is about a lot of things. This is not about a budget. This is using or fabricating crisis to push for an agenda you’d never be able to sell under normal circumstances. And so you have to convince everyone that these are not normal circumstances, these are desperate circumstances and your desperate measures are therefore somehow required. What this is has a name, it is called shock doctrine.
